Plain-language summary
Motivum lets you discover motivational quotes, write your own quotes, design images, and share them. It does not require an account and does not operate its own server to store your quotes.
1. Controller and scope
This policy applies to Motivum, identified on Android by the package name com.motivum.app. It covers your use of the mobile application and this information page.
This is a static page. By itself, it does not set cookies, include analytics, or collect information through forms.
2. Information processed
Information stored locally
The app stores the information needed to remember its state on your device:
- quotes you create and your optional signature;
- quotes marked as favorites;
- visual, language, and theme preferences;
- Pro purchase status and restored benefits;
- technical counters used to limit ads and review requests;
- temporary unlocks obtained through rewarded ads.
Motivum does not require an account and does not directly request your name, email address, password, contacts, precise location, photos, or health information.
Temporary images
When you share a quote as an image, Motivum creates a temporary PNG file in your device's cache. The operating system may retain it until its automatic cleanup process runs.
3. External services
Some features rely on providers that may process information under their own privacy policies.
Google Mobile Ads
The free version uses Google Mobile Ads for banners, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads. According to Google, its SDK may collect IP addresses, interactions with the app and ads, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. Motivum does not control Google's retention practices.

Google Play Billing
Motivum Pro purchases are processed by Google Play. Motivum receives the status needed to enable or restore the purchase, but it does not receive your full card details or payment credentials.
In-app reviews
Motivum may request a review through the official Google Play interface. The app stores locally that the request was made, but it does not learn the rating you submit or the content of your review.
System share menu
When you tap “Share,” your operating system displays the available apps. Only the app you select receives the text or image. That service's privacy policy applies from that point onward.
4. How information is used
- to provide and remember Motivum's core features;
- to save quotes, favorites, and preferences without requiring an account;
- to generate and share images requested by the user;
- to display, limit, and reward ads in the free version;
- to process purchases, restore Motivum Pro, and prevent errors;
- to request reviews sparingly after meaningful app use.
5. Retention and security
Motivum's own data remains stored locally until you delete it in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall it. Shared files are stored temporarily in the cache. Google's retention periods are governed by its own policies.
We apply reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized access. However, no device or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete your quotes from “My Quotes,” remove favorites, clear the cache, erase the app's data, or uninstall it. You can also manage ad personalization through your device's Google settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, restrict, or transfer your personal data. Because Motivum's primary information is stored only on your device, many of these actions can be completed directly there. For any additional request, contact us using the details below.
7. Children's privacy
Motivum is not specifically directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a contact channel, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Motivum's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The current version will be published at this same address together with its last-updated date.
